That is something for you to discuss with those running the program in your own state. We wouldn't have any idea what is available in that area for her; we also have no idea of her circumstances. We are simply a bunch of caregivers from all around the world. I wish you good luck in reaching out. Start with a call to your local council on aging to ask how to get information on food stamp programs in your own area. You may also want to try individual programs such as Meals on Wheels and senior centers that serve one meal a day.
