Housing help, my dad is low income and has Medicare and Medicaid in Des Moines, IA.
My dad is 75 yrs old and step mom 77 both disabled low income have Medicare and Medicaid about to be homeless DesMoines Iowa I don't know what to do I need help finding them housing and funding to move them
I would start with a call to your local Senior Services or Local Council on Aging. I would not know where to start, either. I am so sorry this is happening to them and to you. The lists for affordable housing everywhere are long. I don't know status on shelters where you live, and I am hoping there are special services for seniors.
