Suggestions on a security system for my front door to prevent people from stealing my food delivery and packages?
I want to know if you can help me with some kind of system for my security. My packages are being taken away illegally. Where do I find security options for free/low cost.
Candless, please note that security cameras are not going to stop people from stealing packages from your front door. These "porch pirates" are nationwide.
If you are home during the day, just keep an ear out for the delivery trucks. That is what I do. When watching TV, I sit where I can see out the window and the TV is facing where I can see. The package lands on my porch and within minutes I have it inside my home.
As for food delivery, you probably have some idea when the food will be delivered depending on what restaurant you are using. You need to keep a watch out for the car and delivery person.
