Abdominal pain, what could be the cause?

lealonnie1 Sep 2024
Last time I had pain in my abdominal area and went to the ER, it turned out to be stage 4 cancer. Go to the ER and find out for yourself what's going on.

Certain foods I cannot eat snd if I do, I have horrible intestinal pains. Acidy and fried foods for one. Eggs for another, can't digest the protein. There can be any number of reasons why you have stomach pain. Could be have gallbladder attacks.

We aren't with a crystal ball here, and we aren't physicians.
It could be ANYTHING. So off you go to the doc. Then give us your update.
Best of luck.

First, we are not doctors. Second, you give us 0 information to go by to even give you guidance. Is it your pain, or someone else's? How old is this person? Where exactly is the pain in their abdomen? How long have they been having the pain? Is it severe enough to require a trip to their primary doctor, Urgent Care or the ER or 911? Please consider these optoins rather than this forum. Why not call their primary doctor and have a video appointment to discuss this? A common non-emergency abdominal pain can be constipation, especially if someone is taking pain meds and not drinking enough water or taking stool softeners. My Mom, a very seasoned retired RN (95 yrs old) swore her abdominal pain (which was under her diaphragm) was something nefarious so we made a trip to the ER only to find out it was indeed constipation. But only you can know if this is an emergency pain or not. Start by calling the primary doctor and go from there.

Good question for your doctor don't you think instead of a bunch of strangers?
