If you are the spouse and family. members have taken over and will not let you see or talk with your spouse. What recourse do I have?

AlvaDeer Aug 2024
You have legal recourse.
If you have done that and find that there are no avenues open to you legally then you have no recourse and should get on with your life.

If they have somehow obtained guardianship, then it would be difficult to act against their wishes. If they don’t have guardianship, and you are legally married, I would think you would have more rights legally than they do. Marriage usually trumps close family members legally. More information is needed here to give you better advice.

See a lawyer. A very good reason needs to be given why you cannot talk to your spouse.
