The day the caregiver comes?
How many hours the caregiver stays, or whether the caregiver works in the morning or afternoons?

Will that better meet Mom's needs, or is it to convenience someone else?
Are there days assigned that a caregiver will not be there?

Searching, I found that your question may have legal parameters. There is so many variables it boggles the mind.

Quite honestly if her State Medicaid is willing to pay for 56 hours of in home health, I would not do anything ANYTHING to possibly have the State reevaluate or reassess her care plan.

56 hours of direct in the home caregiver placement is beyond amazing!
56 hours is basically over a full time work week of caregivers. Most get half the #.

I guess that would be a good question for Medicaid, don't you think?
Medicaid varies from state to state, so best to give them a call or go online.
