Depending on Moms income, she maybe able to get help with the cost thru Medicaid. So when calling around, ask about Medicaid. I paid $80 a day 3x a week out of Moms money. They picked her up at 8am by bus and dropped her off at 3pm. She had breakfast and lunch there. They also bathed her for me and gave her therapy.
Contact the Area Agency on Aging and local senior centers to get referrals on programs. Many areas have day programs, many do not and not all have transportation.
