My 94-year-old mother complains about peeing in her pull-ups whenever she turns on her side to sleep. Any ideas about cause and treatment?

She has a dropped bladder. Could kidney stones cause this to
happen? Any help is appreciated.

Maybe when she lays on her side she is pressing her bladder against another organ. Seems she is not fully emptying her bladder before bed. Its recommended to fully empty ur bladder you should lean forward. Mom needs to sit until the urge to go stops. I know at 72, I need to sit a little longer because I will get that urge again.

Looked up Kegel exercises and seems you can start these at any age.

catcoker, it is all part of aging. I am in my mid-70's, and when I turn over to sleep on my other side, I find myself having to make a mad dash to the bathroom.

Very helpful and good to know! If it’s just another annoying part of aging then I won’t worry so much! I’m 72–can’t wait until it starts for me! Whoo hoo! Thanks again.
