If you are in a NH care facility for rehab and wound care, can any be reported to the IRS?

After major surgery I was admitted to a short term rehab, I had a relapse after going home and returned to a health care facility. In ten days I went into respiratory arrest and was hospitalized and then returned for rehab and wound care to a nursing high level facility., I got sepsis in the hospital due to a UTI and a wound to my bottom as a bed wound., I am now in a nursing facility for rehab and wound care on a daily basis and am now on self pay due to income.,

Are you asking if the medical expenses are tax deductible?

This would be a question for your tax preparer. Because it is based on percentages of your income, so they would be the ones to know.

Is your insurance/Medicare not paying for rehab?
