Does single applicant for Medicaid mean just my husband can apply?

We are on fixed income. Without my small SS stipend, he qualifies on the most recent table I have found for Maryland. I am his caregiver and need help at home bathing him, etc. Is it better to contact an Elderly Law person and if so, how do we pay for this?

Perhaps contact your local social services and/or department of aging. I hope they can help you. https://health.maryland.gov/mmcp/Pages/Seniors-Age-65-and-Older.aspx

Contact your County Office of Aging. Also, Medicaid can answer your question. Its your SS not his. He is the one needing the service, not you.

Find your aged and disability office in your county. They can guide you on the Medicaid road….
