Does anyone know if social security will pay me for caring for my spouse?

Does anyone know if SS will pay a (me) care giver for caring for spouse? I am working part time but I know one day I will have to quit. Any info on this subject and if I can collect, and any info on website would be greatly appreciated.

The above link will lead you to your area agency on aging. Call them to see what services are available for you and your husband in your area.

You're referring to Medicare and not Social Security, and no, Medicare does not pay for any caregiving. However, Medicaid does cover a certain amount of hours for paid care if you qualify for it, however it does not cover very many hours of care, so you best get your "ducks in a row" now.
