Note: already tapped in to groups. Wife began treatment in 2013. Now 90% wheelchair bound, starting to have cognitive, voice and swallowing difficulties. Obese and transferring is risking injury to me.
There are several other organizations for Parkinson's...the Parkinson's Foundation, American Parkinson's Disease Association, Davis Phinney Foundation. Etc...There is a lot of support for People With Parkinson's including for YOPD. Get all the info you can and join a support group. There is a lot to learn.
Thx. Dx in 2913 so we're tapped in. Disability and dependence now calling for more care, but nothing set up and she's not partnering to fix. Obesity also out of control.
