My husband is a service connected disabled veteran. Do I qualify for any benefits? He is still living and we are married?

Need a home to live in. I'm renting and this Old House is falling apart and is covered with mold and mildew. I have a disability already and not able to work. My husband is a service connected disabled veteran and is still living.  Is there anything The VA can do to help me?

A lot depends on the % of disability.
Contact your local Veterans Assistance Commission. Bring as much information that you have. DD214 and any other documentation. (even private letters he may have sent you if you were together when he was in service can help)
the Veterans Assistance Commission services are FREE and they are a lot easier to get hold of than someone at the VA. But if you do call the VA ask to talk to a Social Worker or a Patient Advocate.
There are many programs the VA has.
One of the recent changes is spouses can now get paid for caring for the Veteran. (If I am correct this was expanded from what was previously only Desert Storm and later)

Call the local VA. They will answer questions for you. You might be eligible for a VA home loan.
