If Mom's assets are $18,000 and she has one credit card with a $5,000 balance, is she eligible for Medicaid in a state with a $15,000 cap?

This question has previously been discussed and explained how this works. I just can't find the post. It was something like " how do they expect someone to live on $875 a month" We have NYS members so hopefully they can help answer ur question. This post will bump u up.
