No one here mentions the use of niacin to relax arteries. Can someone comment?

Niacin dilates vessels, that's what causes the flushing effect. It is a supplement and can still interact with other medications, so a doctor or pharmacist should be consulted before taking, and also for dosage recommendations.

The only thing I found is that it increases the good cholesterol so plaque doesn't form as fast. It can be used in combination with statins. Nothing about relaxing arteries.
