Daddy (stage 7 ALZ) fell and broke his hip. Where should we put him?

Hey you all, Daddy has been in a memory unit for about three years. This past spring, his primary carer died of Covid (they were living with him in the memory unit). Last week he couldn't be roused and went to hospital (he is difficult to be around and before his primary carer died, they wouldn't allow him to be given a tranquilizer. I suspect an overdose, no proof). Anyhow, he went back to the memory unit and fell and broke his hip within two days. He is back at hospital, and had a hip replacement. He is partially restrained because he is tearing at the surgical site and generally throwing things around. His power of medical attorney and his POA are trying to find a new place for him (FYI he and his primary carer chose the memory unit). Can a new place be found for him? Is he going to have to go into a mental type institution?
