Great success with melatonin for sundowning...anybody else?

Mom began sundowning in the afternoon a couple of months ago, although we didn't really understand it was sundowning until a couple of weeks ago. Doctors refused to give her any anti-anxiety meds. In fact I have almost given up on doctors.

After I did research, I saw that melatonin was used with success by some.

I got her a 3mg dose for evenings and she improved practically overnight. She's only had one episode in about six days, whereas before they were daily.

I realize everyone's different, but I sure wish I had done this months ago.
