Where can I find an estate planner?

I need a guideline to know what all I need to know and have in place for my folks and my sister's that have down syndrome. My mother, the one who has always been able to take care of everything, is starting to have dementia, so I need to learn to take care of all the important details.

Often they have direct experience and going online in your own neighborhood, as well as taking care of business that way can be a great comfort and help in these times. It is crucial you begin now if there are changes you are noting, as at some point a parent with dementia is not able to do any DPOA paperwork or any wills or changes to wills. An attorney will examine an elder carefully to know if that person understands what they are signing and who they are assigning to act for them if they become incapacitated.
