My mother in law lives with us. She is 89, very frail, and having problems with bowel movements. How do I cope?

She doesn’t realise when she does it at night. I am struggling to cope with her. She is not demanding but, I find the problem with her not wanting to drink is always a problem as she doesn’t want to drink. Could this be any thing to do with her bowel movements?
