I've been a full time nana to three kids for five years and now their mom is kicking me out. I've never been paid. What can I do?

I've always done the full time raising her kids, she has moved out, been to jail a few times and still never paid, and now is kicking me out. Can I do anything?

Do you have a written agreement? If not paid, what did u do for money when she was in jail?

What is the outcome that you want? To not be kicked out at all? To be given more time so that you can find an alternate place to live? To be paid back wages? To have social access to the kids? What are you looking for?

actually it depends on your state law, as a household employee you may not have any right to stay & she may not have to legally evict you.

She can not just kick you out. She would have to legally evict you and right now no courts are granting evictions.

Sorry, but you are 5 years to late to think that you should be paid. What is your relationship to this family?
