Dealing with Dementia and "Shelter in Place "?

This last weekend was really tough!
My Aunt in ALF in California has called me several times confused.
She has started asking about going home again. Asking about all of her possessions again. Upset because no one is telling her anything (of course she's been told numerous times).
After being there for almost 5 months, I felt as though she was finally settled in. I was feeling pretty good about her mental status.
Her AFL has had them confined to their rooms for almost 2 weeks now.
I feel like the lack of interaction with others has caused her mental status to slip.
She no longer remembers that her home has been sold! After weeks of her seeming to comprehend the situation. I understand that her dementia is the issue, however, it seems as though things have declined with the isolation.
Have any of you encountered the same thing?
