95 yr mother having night time paranoia, swears people are in her apartment. Any suggestions?

She has never seen them, only hears noises.

There is no indication of dementia in your profile.
Some forms of dementia there are auditory and or visual hallucinations. So this might be something that you would want to bring up with your moms doctor during the next visit.

Apartments can have all sorts of noises that are more noticeable at night. Banging pipes. Footsteps from an upstairs neighbor. Voices from the next apartment in any direction.

You might want to try a "white noise" machine in her room and see if that is more soothing than noises that she may be hearing. Many of them have a variety of sounds pick one that would be soothing but probably one that does not have a "real" sound like birds or crickets or water running.
