If a patient is in Hospice and needs therapy, I know Home Health can go in, but is there a limit to how many visits they can make?

Thanks

I am with Shane. I am under the same impression.

If Hospice allows this, yes there is a limit to how many times PT will come. It will probably have to do with how the patient progresses. My Mom broke her shoulder. She never was able to get her arm over her head. No amount of therapy was going to change the outcome.

PT for a fractured wrist. This is different than the primary diagnosis of the patient.

Hospice has mental health care counselors. It's one of the best parts of Hospice.

You can’t have home care and hospice simultaneously. Once hospice takes over homecare stops.

What kind of therapy are you speaking of?
