Yes, the person must be 100% with at least 60% of disability in one area of ADLs. Also look into having a VA in home tram to provide medical care. Cntact the SW assigned to their team at VA hospital and they can do the paperwork. I went through our in home tram SW and she got it done in less than 45 days.
Make appointment with local VA office. Have Dr fill out the form that she needs 24/7 help with ADLs & is homebound. If you bring that form with you to appointment along with Vet’s war papers, it won’t take as long. I don’t remember form number, but ask when making appointment or look up at http://www.VA.org ...but first step is to make appointment with them. Hugs 🤗

You need to contact the VA in your county. To receive A&A the Vet had to serve during War time. The VA will tell u what u need and help with the application.
