Benefits for aging veterans?

JoAnn29 Nov 2019
You really need to call your local VA dept. Your County seat should have an office.

Benefits all depend on when you served and how long you served. For some things spouses can get help, others they can't.

If ur over 65, there is Aid and Attendance. This is a pension for a Vet and spouse where your care exceeds your income. You will be asked to prove need. You will have had to served during Wartime. WWII, Korea or Vietnam. Get all your papers together and financial records. I have a friend who uses the VA hospital services as his supplimental insurance but his wife can't. She was able to stay with her former employer.

Call and get an appointment.
