Any experience with the assisted living waiver program?

What is your question? I know your age has nothing to do with it because the waiver is open to disabled people age 21 and over. You live in one of the counties that offers an AL waiver. In this state it’s not a matter of AL’s NOT taking med-cal. In this state, the facility has to be approved so you have to find an approved facility.

We have some Cal people in the forum. Maybe they can help. Is it your age or because the AL does not except the waiver.
