My grandmother is considered to have more money than she actually has. Does anyone know of a program that can pay for daycare with Medicare?

I don't understand how she can be considered to have more money than she has. Someone had to supply the info. Could you please explain?

Is your income being considered? Are you paying her rent?

Look at what money resources they are claiming she has. Investigate this more closely. If they are wrong, get it corrected. If they are right, then see how you can use that resource to pay for her care....(which you would be required to do anyway to qualify for Medicaid)

Traditional Medicare doesn’t pay for adult day care. Does she have Medicare part c/Medicare advantage? If so, her plan may pay for part of the cost adult day care. Is she on Medicaid? Medicaid also pays for part of the cost of adult day care. Try contacting the area on aging, they will know of all the local programs in your area. Good luck!
