Any interview tips for home care?

Just moved Mom from home of 61 years where she had weekly housekeeper. Now at new home six miles from husband and me, we are looking at personal care giver to help her with bathing in the shower chair. Agency is coming over to meet us today! Any tips will be appreciated!

Yonderfarm,
There have been so many postings that both of your questions were probably not on the first page of the Forum during a time period when several people/posters were available to response.  I have responded to BOTH of your postings--so hopefully someone will offer some suggestions regarding hiring a caregiver for your home.

I'm sure fellow family caregivers will come along to share their personal experiences, but to start, here is a general list of interview questions one of our author's created.
