FIL transferred assets in March, 2018. Is this transfer subject to the 3 year lookback period? This is what's stated on the website - "Please note: transfers made prior to 10/18/18 do not violate this new look back rule".
I was at a Veterans benefit seminar and the speaker wasn't sure if this was true.
