Has anyone dealt with being evicted from assisted living because of age discrimination and telling my spouse she cannot be in the facility?

Did you marry someone younger and she moved in with you at the AL?

Did she get injured and requires assistance or ?

More information will get you help, it is hard when nothing is known.

We really need an age. Your profile says 46 but there have been errors lately with ages posted.

Maybe she doesn't need an AL? Needs more care? Needs a higher level of care?

If evicted she had to have been excepted?

worried in Cali,

Oh wow! I see. That's interesting. No age was listed in the question and I hadn't read the profile so I had no idea and assumed the wrong thing. Thanks for pointing that out to me.

Kathaleen,

That is crazy! How old? Isn't that what assisted living is all about? To assist the elderly? I am touring facilities now. My mom is 93 and there is one in my area that I know has a 99 year old resident living there. The director told me the 99 year old goes for a walk daily around the premises. Don't you wish everyone could get around like that? I do. My mom has used a walker for quite some time now.
