Any experience with an assisted living benevolent fund?

My Mom has been in a private pay assisted living for 3 years and exhausted all her assets. Recently they have raised her level of care level. There is a Benevolent Fund in place for residents. Has anyone had any experience with this type of assistance if so how much do they pay? Her new monthly rate is $6079 she's 95 and has stage 3 CHF we pay half of her care but its getting hard financially.

Have you tried getting your mom on medicaid? Since she has CHF, she may qualify.

Interesting. Who funds the benevolent care subsidy? Have you seen any paperwork on it? I would imagine some sort of trans actional contract is required.
