How does this work, dementia person answering neurologists questions when he cannot understand him since he is so hard of hearing?
Husband failed the first test on first visit, and blamed Dr. for not repeating over...the three words he was to remember....I can't figure out how the Dr. can figure this out, help....
I'm sure he does, my husband always says if the Dr. doesn't make sure he (my husband) understands the questions, how can he be diagnosed with dementia...he is blaming the DR. and of course is in denial, if I try to speak, my husband will be rude and tell me he is trying to talk, somehow I don't think I should have done this today as it just isn't coming out the way I intend...sorry.
