My mom started shredding her soiled depends and eating it. Anyone else experiencing this with their parent?
HELP! She is doing this during the night. She lives in Memory care and I get called because she then vomits. She's been checked for a UTI and anemia, all tests are negative. Anyone else experiencing this with their parent?
The staff at a memory care should be experts at dealing with behavioural problems, I'm wondering why they are coming to you for solutions rather than making suggestions.
I agree about checking out the special garments that would help with this, but, I'd also try to consult with a geriatric psychiatrist to see what is going on. She may also need a sleep aid.
