Does anyone know of any virtual caregiver support groups by phone or video conferencing?

I participated in a caregiver study in 2015 and learned a lot and also attended a caregiver class.

Check out the Alzheimer's Association. Also call Area Agency on Aging to find support and other resources in your area. Mom is on hospice? You should have 24/7 access to the hospice social worker and other assistance.

Here in Cleveland, Ohio, we have two very large hospital systems, the Cleveland Clinic and also Case Western Reserve University Hospital which is a teaching hospital. These two systems have many, many public and patient oriented classes, both online and in person. If you wanted to, since the classes are online and not in-person, you could even check their websites. Home Health Care agencies may also know of classes.

hi faith, I read a previous post, I believe you take care of mom who is on hospice? is she still on hospice? maybe you can ask hospice for a list of support in your area? otherwise this website is a good source for questions. although there is a wait time for answers. I don't know of phone/video conferencing. maybe someone else will come along in a few days that knows something about that.
