My son's father age 62 is at the hospital since he was diagnosed with Leukemia. What can I do to help him?

He is very weak and his 39 year old daughter made him give her his SSI card and has been using his money for her convenience while he is weak at the hospital where he can hardly talk and asking for all his material stuff. I already contacted some of his family but what I can do is so limited since I am not with him. I don't think this is fair he does not deserve this, what can I do to help him?
