Can I (sr.) get help on Medicare and Medicaid and Qualified Medicare Beneficiaries (QMB)?

QMB is a Medicare Savings Program and if your assets are low enough you may qualify. There are several MSP programs and which one you qualify for depends on your income. Sorry I don't know where your county is but in my state you can apply by phone, over the Internet or get an application mailed to you. You mail it and don't even need an interview. It's all done by correspondence unless you want to come into the office. Check your state Department of Social and Health Services (whatever the equivalent is called in your state). This is very doable. My job includes processing paperwork for.these programs every day for my state. Good luck.
