Who can I contact as a public official who would be agreeable to act as my POA for Healthcare?

I don’t have any relatives. Most of my friends are too old. I need someone in San Diego area.

Audrey, I'd be careful about a "public official", if by that you mean someone in a governmental agency.

And I suspect that a stranger in that capacity might be accused of conflict of interest if he/she accepted a position for someone he/she doesn't know.
