I have power of attorney for my grandmother. Am I able to handle her accounts at the bank?
She is currently in the early stages of dementia.

Often banks require their own kinds of documents. In addition to Glad's suggestion, ask the bank what their requirements are.

Read the POA document. Do you have standing power? Or is it required that she is found incompetent by two doctors?
