My niece pulled all the money out of my dad's bank accounts. What should I do?
My mom passed away and my dad is in assisted living. My niece which lives close and myself are POA however I live in NY, recently my niece pull all money out of bank accounts will not respond to any of the family what should i do
Veekee, who is the primary POA or are the two of you equal? How did you find out that she had pulled the money from those accounts? Did she tell you or did your Dad? Does your Dad have any type of memory issue?
If the accounts where closed, were any of the accounts joint with your Dad's name? Wonder if your niece gathered all the accounts and put them as one account jointly so that she can pay for Assisted Living?
Is this something new that your niece isn't talking to the family?
