For the past 4 years I never knew that I had Medicaid, so I was paying the doctors myself. Do I get all that money back from the 4 years I paid not knowing about Medicaid?

For the past 4 years I never knew I had Medicaid because I got a letter when I got Medicare. Well I just found out that I've had it the whole 4 years and I've paid the doctors several hundred dollars because I didn't know. I called the doctor and they sent it to billing and said I did not have any outstanding balances, so do I get that money back?

My dr bills was paid mostly by Medicare but u have out of pocket for 4 years it was over $700 and my drs office gave me a credit of $473 so it's only right to give me my money back bc they have Medicaid and Medicare payments which I didn't have any balance I guess I'm gonna have to call
