Metrie Asked April 2017

I want my son to have a very limited conservatorship power to handle my affairs. What should I do?

I am fairly young, yet have been troubled with PTSD all my life. My son is so nice and level headed. I just do not want to put him at risk. I don't see how he could be put at risk by this. Am I missing something? Thanks.

How about granting him power of attorney? What is it you want him to be able to do?

I strongly suggest you read the book 5@55, a slim volume available at your local library about what legal docs you should have in place at age 55.
