Mom is refusing to accept assistance with dressing and showering Dad in their assisted living facility.

Dad has been falling, not necessarily during dressing or showering, but the staff is hoping that giving them assistance will reduce his falls. Can Mom be forced to accept help, especially if Dad says they should accept the help. What can they do to insist that they give help? They are living in NY.

Is this an added charge? The help I mean. Perhaps mom is trying to save money. Is she keeping them isolated? Not going out. Perhaps if the aids could come in and visit and get to know them mom would be more comfortable. Could mom benefit from anxiety medication?
