How to get guardianship?

I am taking care of my mother. Who do I need to talk to?

AWPLLC Feb 2017
I agree, contact and elder care attorney. Typically, you will need a Power of Attorney in place to have the liberty to manage finances and a health care proxy in place to manage medical-related needs. If your loved one is unable to make her own decisions, most times the attorney will require you to retrieve a letter of mental incapacitation from a medical professional. Hope this helps! Michelle

Hi fredia22

To begin the guardianship process contact an elder care attorney.
