I am confused, too.   Your mother-in-law called the police?   Or the hospital called security?   Was mother-in-law asked by security to leave the building?   Were you asked to leave the building?   Not unusual for security to ask both parties to leave.   What was the Court Order about?   Trespassing?   Was your mother-in-law banned from seeing her son?  Or did she think you shouldn't be there?

Hospital security usually escorts the unruly visitors to the front door, asking them not to return until they cool down.   Rarely do they get involved with a Court Order as that is time consuming.   If things get out of control, then the local Police are called in, and the Police take it from there.

I realize that emotions can get the best of us, we are only human.   What is the current allowance of visitors for your husband?
