Does Medicaid consider Social Security an income?

A form ask about proof of income . She only has social security this isn't considered income is it?

Just for general knowledge, SS can be taxable income depending on whether or not there is other income.

Yes it is income when you are talking about Medicaid. Don't confuse tax return rules with Medicaid rules. They are different.
