MongrelPuppy Asked November 2016

My mother has had toileting issues now has diarrhea. Any suggestions?

No diet change.  My mother-91 lives with us.

Thank you freqflyer. I will try both.

Sometimes as we age we tend to become dairy intolerant. That happened to my Dad when he reached his 90's. Had to use Lactaid® brand milk and ice cream. No more cottage cheese, regular cheese, whip cream, yogurt [unless it is diary free]. I am 70 and have been dairy intolerant for over a decade now.

Also tried to cut back on wheat products, so Dad went Gluten-free for awhile.

Both changes did help with what he would call the trots.

We did not celebrate, life as normal.

Are you sure? What about Thanksgiving? Sometimes that throws the digestive system out of whack. It can either be the food or all the noise and confusion that happens on a holiday.
