How do we protect elderly parents property after they can no longer live in the home?

And protect it from being taken by other family members?

Alberta, exactly how would the other relatives take the property? They can't just move in and confiscate the property - is this what you're thinking?

In whose name is the deed titled? Have your parents executed their estate planning documents, and to whom would the home be left?

More information on what you think might happen would help.

If your parent can no longer live in their own home, shouldn't the home be sold or rented out, so that the funds can be used for the parents' care?

If relatives are breaking and entering, I'd call the police and have them charged.
