How can my sister and myself become my mother's caregiver?
I have taken care of my mother since 2013. We have been having financial issues and have gotten as much help from family as we can. Now I want to know if becoming my mother's caregiver can help me out for in some way.
You should have a written caregiver agreement, because Medicaid will want to see one. Figure out your household expenses, divide by the number of people and make sure mom is paying her share (and only her share).
