What do you do for parent(s) with dementia that continually calls at night?

Like every 5 to 10 minutes until the early morning like 3 am

I agree with the others.

People with dementia generally cannot live alone beyond the very earliest stage. By the time the disease is recognized they usually need supervision around the clock. The living arrangement needs to be addressed.

DonaldandGwen, I think when that happens, it is time for the parent to have a higher level of care. What this is showing is that Dad isn't remembering he had already called you. If he is doing that, chances are he is forgetting about other things, too. Like leaving on the stove, leaving on the lights, not locking the front door, and possibly wandering outside at night, etc.

You may want to hire from an Agency a night caregiver who is required to stay awake the whole time to watch your Dad. If your Dad is up most of the night, I bet he is doing a lot of sleeping during the day.

If he's calling it's likely he's scared
His care situation needs to be addressed

Unplug/turn off the phone. If this is an emergency, they can call 911.

Another thing to consider...are they living alone? This may not be a viable situation any more, they may need more supervision such as a nursing home (but keep in mind the can still call from a nursing home...unless you have the phone in their room removed).
