Has anyone had their loved one improve while under Hospice care?

My Mom's appetite and drinking fluids has improved. Although she needs help standing, with personal care and eating she does seem stronger and she can take a few steps while being held. She is still under Hospice care, but could she be dismissed if she does not continue to decline? Just wondering if anyone else has experienced improvement while receiving Hospice care.

Yes - I know a lady who was put under Hospice care and has outlived it. At this point this has not been recertified.

I have read several caregivers on this board say that their LO improved while on Hospice. Some "graduated" from Hospice care.

Read the contract you signed with Hospice. In most cases, there is an initial period of care, after which the patient can be recertified if they continue to meet criteria.
